10 Favorite Finds at the ArteFino Fair 2025

By Dara Clariza Evangelista

ArteFino returned to The Fifth with over 100 brands showcasing never-before-seen collections, all rooted in purpose, heritage, and design excellence. From sculpted handbags to woven textures and intricate jewelry, the fair delivered a vibrant mix of contemporary craftsmanship and cultural soul.

These were my standout picks from the day:

1. Sardinas Weekender by Follow Your Heart Bags

This oversized canvas bag, embroidered with a playful school of sardines, perfectly balances whimsy and practicality. It’s a head-turner you’ll want for your next out-of-town trip.

      2. Shell Bag with Gold Accent by Earl Gariando

An arm piece made from polished seashells, finished with ornate gold trimming. It’s as regal as it is beachy, perfect for summer soirées or a fancy day by the sea.

        3. Woven Barrel Bag by R2R

The soft weave of green, pink, and white framed with rich brown vegan leather feels refreshingly grounded yet elevated. A handcrafted classic built for everyday style.

          4. Floral Carved Round Bag by Charming Baldemor Studios

A true standout, this round wooden bag features hand-carved florals that feel like wearable sculpture. An heirloom-worthy piece.

            5. Abstract Bamboo-Handled Bag by Tish x Beatriz

Colorful and contemporary, this structured top-handle bag combines embroidered geometry with a bamboo handle. It’s bold, modern, and Filipino-made.

              6. Scarf Dress Featuring Butandings by Jim Weaver Designs

Originally a scarf, this piece was styled into a tube dress featuring illustrations of butandings and even the word Luzon. A vibrant, wearable map of culture and marine life.

              7. Dog Scarves by Boop MNL

These locally woven pet accessories are a sweet and stylish way to bring your furry friend into the fashion spotlight.

              8. Embroidered Floral Wrap Top by Tilia

This wrap blouse features delicate flower appliqués in ivory and green, set against a neutral base. Light, soft, and made to flatter.

                9. Gold Medallion Necklaces by Kathy & Kathy Bespoke Jewelry

Statement layering made elegant. These bold, intricate medallions channel old-world luxury with modern styling potential.

                10. Shell-Adorned Linen Top by Tagpi

This easy brown shirt takes it up a notch with real shell accents that sway and shimmer with movement. Effortless with a touch of drama.

From heritage techniques to fresh interpretations of local design, ArteFino 2025 was a rich showcase of what Filipino creativity can do, functional, meaningful, and made with heart.
