A Riot of Color: Desigual and M. Christian Lacroix Unveil SS26

Desigual x M. Christian Lacroix SS26 collection

Fashion is at its most powerful when it tells a story, and for Spring/Summer 2026, Desigual and M. Christian Lacroix deliver one that is vibrant, expressive, and impossible to ignore.

The latest chapter in the long-running collaboration between the Barcelona-based fashion house and the legendary French designer is a celebration of color, creativity, and individuality. Unveiled through a collection inspired by orchids, artistic heritage, and bold graphic prints, SS26 embraces fashion as a form of self-expression.

At the heart of the collection are two distinct yet harmonious worlds. One draws inspiration from cultural and artistic references, from the shimmering beauty of Ancient Egyptian scarabs to traditional textile motifs reimagined through watercolor effects. The other blooms with oversized orchid prints and striking op-art patterns influenced by Eastern aesthetics.

The result is a wardrobe designed for women who dress with confidence and freedom. Flowing maxi dresses, fluid shirt dresses, handkerchief skirts, barrel-cut trousers, graphic tees, and quilted patchwork jackets create effortless yet elevated silhouettes. Delicate tulle pieces add softness and movement, bringing a touch of romance to the collection’s bold visual language.

Accessories continue the narrative with printed scarves and quilted bags adorned with fringed details, proving that in the world of Desigual and Lacroix, prints are more than decoration, they are identity.

Beyond its artistic vision, the collection reflects a growing commitment to conscious fashion. Materials such as organic cotton, BCI cotton, Lenzing™ Lyocell, TENCEL™, recycled polyester, and fluid acetates are thoughtfully incorporated, balancing creativity with responsibility.

We are in love with the prints of the Desigual x M. Christian Lacroix SS2026 collection, as they exude chic summer-coded pastel paisley, and some floral poetry. The collection is built as a dialogue between two creative universes that coexist naturally. On one hand, an ethnic-inspired vision reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, where prints emerge from cultural and pictorial references: from the iridescence of Ancient Egyptian scarabs to echoes of traditional blankets rendered with the delicacy of watercolor. On the other hand, an exuberant and graphic floral vision takes center stage, with the orchid as the main motif, explored through multicolored, oversized prints and combined with op-art patterns inspired by Eastern aesthetics. @rustansph @ssilifeph #selfloveisstylish #stylishlife #desigual
