On July 24, fashion’s most fabulous stepped into a world of whimsy as Alice + Olivia officially opened its doors at Greenbelt 5, Makati, bringing New York glamour to Manila’s style scene.

Founded by Stacey Bendet, Alice + Olivia is a love letter to bold femininity. Known for its dreamy prints, theatrical silhouettes, and vintage-meets-modern charm, the brand has captured the hearts (and closets) of Hollywood icons like Beyoncé, Meghan Markle, and Michelle Obama. And now, it’s here, inviting Filipinas to embrace their inner maximalist.

The store opening was a visual feast, perfectly mirroring the brand’s joyful, unapologetic aesthetic. Guests wandered through rooms adorned with floral displays and statement wallpapers, with racks full of shimmery dresses, dramatic coordinates, and eye-catching accessories. Each corner was Instagram-ready, but the best part? The fashion was just as photogenic as the space.

Leading the guest list were some of Manila’s most stylish women, each one dressed in Alice + Olivia pieces that captured their personalities. Kylie Verzosa turned heads in a denim drop-waist midi, a fresh twist on feminine tailoring. Kyline Alcantara looked effortlessly cool in an embroidered blue halter dress. Max Collins and Ella Pangilinan also made their mark in intricate embellishments and playful prints, proving that Alice + Olivia’s charm translates beautifully to our tropical shores.

It wasn’t just about the clothes, there was a flower booth where guests could curate their own bouquets, tying into the brand’s love of color and creativity. With floral scents in the air and fashion-forward conversations flowing, it felt like stepping into one of Stacey Bendet’s mood boards.

More than just a store opening, the launch of Alice + Olivia in the Philippines was a celebration of joy. It’s a reminder that fashion should be fun, fearless, and full of personality, and there’s no better place to start than here.
