Anne Curtis Champions Sensitive Skin Awareness with Cetaphil

Anne Curtis has always been known for her radiant beauty, but even she admits that her skin hasn’t always been easy to manage. At the launch of Cetaphil’s 2025 National Healthy Skin Mission (NHSM) at SM Makati last August 7, the actress and brand ambassador opened up about her evolving journey with skin sensitivity, bringing both relatability and star power to the campaign.

Now in its sixth year, the NHSM carries the theme “There’s More to Your Sensitive Skin.” The initiative highlights how sensitive skin is more than just occasional dryness or redness, it can be triggered by stress, pollution, lifestyle, and even climate change. In fact, the Philippines ranks the highest in Southeast Asia for sensitive skin cases, making the conversation more relevant than ever.

For Anne, the message hits close to home. She shared how her skin changed after becoming a mother, with hyperpigmentation and sensitivity becoming new challenges.

“As someone who’s always on the go, I’ve learned how stress, pollution, and even constant makeup can trigger sensitivity. It’s not just about products anymore, it’s about understanding what your skin really needs,” Anne explained.

Her story mirrors the campaign’s call for deeper awareness: sensitivity isn’t just surface-level, it’s a condition that deserves proper care.

This year, Cetaphil also unveiled its Soothing & Comforting CICA Range, formulated with Centella Asiatica, Allantoin, and Pentavitin. The line was developed to address redness, calm irritation, and protect the skin barrier for 24 hours. Unlike quick fixes, the range focuses on long-term solutions that prevent flare-ups before they happen, an innovation Anne describes as essential for people like her, whose lives (and skin) are constantly exposed to changing environments.

Through her role in the campaign, Anne reinforces Cetaphil’s message: healthy skin starts with truly understanding what kind of sensitivity you’re dealing with, whether it’s redness, irritation, or hyperpigmentation. With dermatologist-developed solutions and expert-backed education, Cetaphil hopes Filipinos can take the first step toward lasting skin health, just as Anne continues to do in her own life.
