It’s been 20 years since The Devil Wears Prada first hit theaters, introducing audiences to Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly, the chic but intimidating editor in chief of Runway magazine. Now, the sequel makes its debut with a world premiere in New York, bringing that same world back into focus. The event reintroduced a select group of New Yorkers to the film’s signature mix of fashion and power, this time with even higher expectations.
The premiere took place at David Geffen Hall, where Meryl Streep was joined by co-stars Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. As expected, the red carpet drew attention, with the cast delivering polished, fashion-forward looks that reflected both the film’s legacy and its return to the spotlight.
