By Dara Clariza Evangelista

BINI is making history as they step onto one of the world’s biggest stages, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026. The eight-member P-pop sensation has been officially announced as part of the festival’s star-studded lineup, marking the first time an all-Filipino pop group will perform at the iconic event in California.

The lineup reveal came Tuesday (Manila time) on Coachella’s official social media pages, listing BINI alongside global names like Sabrina Carpenter, Katseye, Foster the People, Disclosure, and Central Cee for the festival’s April 10 to 17 run. This milestone places them in the same league as other Filipino artists who have graced Coachella in recent years, such as Beabadoobee, Eyedress, and Underscores, while internet star Niana Guerrero notably made a surprise cameo in 2025.

“It’s official… #BINI is heading to Coachella 2026! See you there, Blooms!!” the group wrote, with member Aiah adding, “Finally! Another dream of ours is ticked off the list. Coachella here we come!!!!! THANK YOU LORD AAAAAAHHHH.

Composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, BINI has steadily carved out a global presence. They became the first Filipino pop group to perform at KCON LA in July 2024 and went on to win Best Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards that November. Known as the “Nation’s Girl Group,” they’ve delivered viral hits like “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Lagi,” “Karera,” and “Cherry on Top.”

Adding to the excitement, BINI also announced that they will be releasing a brand-new album on October 2, giving fans even more to look forward to ahead of their Coachella debut. And before they head to California, they’ll return to the Philippine Arena for their “BINIfied” year-end concert on November 29.

The countdown is on, and BINI is just getting started.
