Manila Fashion Week is officially here.
Started as BYS Fashion Week three years ago, the event is being rebranded as a separate seasonal fashion event series called Manila Fashion Week. The event was founded by stylist and creative director John Lozano, with co-founder Angie Goyena from BYS Cosmetics.
Manila Fashion Week is poised to be “a celebration of Filipino creativity on a global stage.”

Since its inception, BYS Fashion Week has become synonymous with boundary-pushing presentations, uniting designers, brands, and artists in a shared vision of modern Filipino style. Over the years, the platform nurtured a vibrant ecosystem for both established and emerging talents, cementing itself as a cultural mainstay.
Now, with its transformation into Manila Fashion Week, the event expands its scope and ambition. The rebrand underscores a commitment to amplifying local voices while aligning the Philippines with the international fashion calendar.

This year, Manila Fashion Week runs from October 16–19, 2025, at SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City, featuring a powerhouse line-up of visionary Filipino designers.
At a press conference held yesterday at KMC Penthouse, the ready-to-wear collections of Andrea Tetangco, Chris Nick, Don’t Blame the Kids, Iñigo Villegas, Oxygen Fashion, Randolf Clothing, Viktor Manila, and Viña Romero from October 16 to 19 at SM Aura. For the first time ever, a pop-up will be open for those who want to cop the exact pieces on the runway.

At the helm of this transformation is John Lozano, founder of Manila Fashion Week, whose vision is to create a world-class platform rooted in Filipino identity yet resonant with international standards.
“There’s just so much talent in the country but not a lot of avenues to showcase them properly,” says Lozano. “We hope that at least, for fashion, MNLFW can be a platform for Filipino designers and brands to show the world their story and what they can offer.”

“Ultimately, the goal is for MNL Fashion Week to be an event that the region, if not the world, will look forward to,” Lozano adds. “And for it to be a launchpad for Filipino talent to go global. But for now, we just want it to be a celebration of the best in Filipino fashion.”

The fashion show series is by-invite only, prioritizing the industry’s movers. However, you may head to the event’s official website to learn how to score exclusive, limited passes.
