We’re so thrilled for STYLISH MAGAZINE current cover girl Lovi Poe as she’s been one of the few to be invited to the intimate ‘girl power’ event organized by powerhouse Hollywood stars Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez themselves!
ICYDN, ‘Friends’ alum and Hollywood superstar Jennifer Aniston is also the founder of haircare line Lolavie, which was launched in 2021. Selena Gomez, on another hand, also made bank with her own makeup line Rare Beauty launched in 2020, making her a billionaire aside from being an A-list actress and singer. Lolavie and Rare Beauty organized an intimate Galentine event in Los Angeles, California just in time for Valentine’s month.
Lovi, also an actress & singer slash beauty entrepreneur with her own makeup line ‘Love, You’ by Lovi in partnership with Ready Set Glow as shared in our cover story, joined the female empowerment-themed event, meeting her long-time idol Aniston as she’s a big fan of hit ’90s sitcom “Friends.”

Lovi seems to be having a lot of fun in LA, as the Filipina actress herself is also set to star in upcoming Hollywood films. One of them is The Chelsea Cowboy, an upcoming British gangster biopic about John Bindon wherein she plays the role of legendary blues singer Dana Gillespie. She also wrapped up filming Bad Man, an action-comedy indie feature starring William Scott (American Pie), Johnny Simmons (The Perks of Being A Wallflower, Jennifer’s Body, The To-Do List), Rob Riggle, Chance Perdomo, and Andre Hyland.
Lovi shared her ‘surreal’ experience being in the same room with influential actors and beauty businesswomen in this exclusive interview with STYLISH:
STYLISH: What did you love best about the efforts of actresses Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez to uplift women through this event?

Lovi: “What I truly admire is how these incredible women—who hold so much influence—use their platforms not just for themselves but to lift others up. They remind us that as women, we should always be on each other’s teams, championing one another. It’s so empowering to see women like Jennifer and Selena advocate for self-love, confidence, and inclusivity, and to do so in such a genuine way. Their message wasn’t just about beauty or business—it was about building a community where women feel seen, heard, and supported.”
STYLISH: What are your favorite lessons or insights that they shared during the event?
Lovi: “The biggest takeaway for me was their emphasis on uplifting and championing women, not just in words but through action. They don’t just create products; they create safe spaces for women to feel confident, appreciated, and celebrated. Their brands, Lolavie and Rare Beauty, are a testament to thoughtful innovation—where beauty isn’t just about looking good but feeling empowered. It inspired me to continue ensuring that every product I work on carries that same sense of purpose and inclusivity.”

STYLISH: As a big fan of “Friends,” how did it feel to finally meet ‘Rachel Green’—Jennifer Aniston—in person?

Lovi: “I’m one of the millions of fans who absolutely adore Jennifer Aniston, and meeting her in person was such a surreal moment. She was so warm, kind, and down-to-earth—everything I had hoped she’d be. You know how they say, “Never meet your idols?”—I’m so glad I met mine! I was trying my best not to look like a total fangirl, but I definitely told her that I love her because, well, how could I not? It was such a special moment, and I’ll cherish it forever!”
STYLISH: As a beauty entrepreneur yourself, what business insights or inspiration did you take from the collaboration between Lolavie and Rare Beauty that align with the values of Ready Set Glow and ‘Love, You’ in terms of women empowerment?

Lovi: “Their collaboration really aligns with what we stand for at Ready Set Glow and ‘Love, You’—which is that beauty is not just about appearance; it’s about confidence, self-expression, and empowerment. Like Lolavie and Rare Beauty, our goal is to create products that aren’t just high-quality and well-crafted but also serve a greater purpose—helping women feel their best, inside and out. Both Jennifer and Selena emphasize the importance of authenticity, inclusivity, and making beauty accessible to all women, which is exactly what I want for ‘love, you’—a brand that celebrates uniqueness and encourages self-love. Their success is a reminder that when you create with intention and heart, the impact goes beyond just selling a product—it becomes a movement.”
We’re so happy for you, Lovi! Continue to inspire women with your creative and business endeavors!
