Globe Brings Student Leaders Together for a Special Toy Story 5 Screening

Movie theaters in Bonifacio Global City, Clark, Dasmariñas, and Cebu City welcomed more than fans of Toy Story 5. They also became meeting places for student leaders from different colleges and universities, who gathered for Globe and Disney’s simultaneous advance screenings of the film.

While Woody and Buzz Lightyear returned to the big screen, students spent the afternoon getting to know fellow campus leaders, joining activities, and discovering opportunities that extended beyond the cinema.

For many attendees, the movie brought back memories of growing up with the Toy Story films. Watching the latest installment with students from other schools made the experience even more special, with conversations continuing after the credits rolled.

The gathering also gave campus organization officers the chance to expand their network. New friendships were formed, ideas were exchanged, and many left with new connections beyond their own universities.

Students also enjoyed raffle activities and explored Globe Rewards through the GlobeOne app, which offers perks such as coffee credits, food and beverage rewards, beep™ card load, and free Timezone load.

Globe also introduced attendees to the Globe Student Program, which supports campus organizations with projects that create a positive impact in their schools and communities. Through the initiative, student leaders can pitch their ideas and gain access to resources and support to help bring them to life.

“The stories we remember most are often the ones we experience together. Through moments like these, we hope students not only enjoy a film they grew up with but also discover new friendships, new communities, and opportunities to create positive impact together,” said Roche Vandenberghe, Chief Marketing Officer at Globe.

For many students, the afternoon ended with more than memories of a new movie. They went home with new friends, fresh ideas, and opportunities to stay connected long after the lights came back on.
