A good denim piece is one of those things that never leaves your closet. It’s dependable, flattering, and always the quickest way to look pulled together without trying too hard. GUESS has built an entire legacy around that feeling, the classic fits, the washes that age well, and of course, the triangle logo that’s become instantly recognizable anywhere in the world. It’s a brand people grew up with, styled differently through the years, yet always familiar.

That’s why the grand reopening of the GUESS flagship store in SM Mall of Asia felt like a natural evolution. Stylish Magazine was invited to the launch, where the newly refurbished space officially debuted the first global concept store design of its kind. The interiors are modern, clean, and elevated, signaling not just a refresh but a strong vote of confidence in the Philippine market.

“This store represents the future of GUESS,” said Maureen Stamati, Executive Director of GUESS Philippines. “Debuting our first global concept here in Manila shows our confidence in the Filipino market. We’re raising the bar for what customers can expect, from the in-store experience and design to our overall brand energy.”

Guests enjoyed good food, easy drinks, and a fun customization booth where you could design your own GUESS triangle bag.
Our Stylish correspondent Janeena Chan, who also hosted the program, set the tone for the afternoon in a white sweater with gold detailing paired with classic GUESS denim, a subtle nod to the brand’s roots and its unmistakable image.

Midway through the event, Andrea Brillantes arrived wearing a red and black floral dress from the GUESS holiday collection, complete with GUESS jewelry and black sandals. She was officially introduced as the first-ever local ambassador of GUESS Philippines.

When asked about the role, Andrea shared, “GUESS has always inspired me to embrace my confidence and femininity. Being named their first local ambassador is an honor.”

She also mentioned that her favorite piece from the holiday collection is the dress she wore that afternoon. “I really love this,” she said, pointing to the dress, “because I love the color red, especially on me.” She added that during her color analysis, she was told she looks great in red. “And it’s Christmas; ang kulay ng Pasko ay pula.”

The afternoon ended on a relaxed note, with guests exploring the refreshed space, taking photos, and appreciating this new chapter for GUESS in Manila.
