When Heart Evangelista walks into a room, or a red carpet, it’s never just about what she’s wearing. It’s about storytelling, symbolism, and pure style mastery. At this year’s GMA Gala 2025, held on August 2 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Heart once again proved why she reigns supreme in the world of fashion.
Wearing a striking Schiaparelli gown originally worn by Hunter Schafer, Heart arrived alongside her husband Senate President Chiz Escudero, turning the blue carpet into her personal runway. The long-sleeved, high-neck gown was a kaleidoscope of painterly strokes in vibrant hues, hand-painted directly onto fabric.
The dress reportedly took five months to complete, and it shows. Shot by BJ Pascual, Heart stood surrounded by arrows aimed at a heart-shaped platform, a dramatic setup that felt both romantic and powerful.
While Heart stunned in couture, Chiz Escudero kept it timeless in a black suit and bow tie, telling GMA News that his wife looked simply “breathtaking.” And honestly? He wasn’t wrong.
