Home is where we truly feel like our authentic selves, and that’s why it is always a great idea to decorate one’s dwelling at the level where we can truly feel at ease. Here at STYLISH, we’re always up for elevating our lives, and one of the best ways to feel leveled up is redecorating a little space here and there at our house to cater our comfort and aesthetic.
Anko, one of Australia’s leading interior design stores, officially launched its new Home Living Collection for 2025 yesterday at its biggest branch in the Philippines: Anko Trinoma. The home decor brand did it with an educational and fun interior design masterclass with Kmart Australia Limited Business Manager for Home Sarah Dummett, the Anko team from Australia, and no less than our favorite Australian-Filipina actress Anne Curtis.

Anne shared how it feels like to be chosen as the brand ambassador in the Philippines, saying, “It honestly feels so special! Back in Australia, Anko was one of those brands I’d always find myself visiting whenever I needed something for the home or for gifting. There was always this sense of comfort and excitement walking through their aisles—because you knew you’d discover something beautiful, useful, and affordable.”
“I appreciate how thoughtfully their ranges are made, from educational toys and art supplies, which my daughter really enjoys, to practical home items that make my family life easier. Now that Anko is here in the Philippines, it feels like I’m sharing a little piece of that experience with everyone. I’m really proud to be part of a brand that has something for every stage of life, whether it’s home essentials, decor, or fun arts and crafts for the kids, and it truly holds a special place in my heart.”

The new Anko collection was designed by ’s in-house buying and design team in Melbourne, bringing saturated hues, rich textures, sculptural forms and pops of accent colors that blend effortlessly into everyday Filipino homes. From curvy furniture and oversized accents to color-blocked cushions, ripple-edged mirrors, and textured ceramics, the collection offers stylish touches to instantly revive your bedroom, kitchen, living room, and more.
“Our Home Living range has been well-loved since we opened last November, so this August we’re keeping the momentum going by adding fresh designs and new pieces. We’ve introduced more versatile furniture, updated decor, bold and playful accents to give customers even more ways to style their homes. The goal is to keep offering options that are stylish, comfortable, and functional—perfect for everything from daily living to special celebrations—while staying true to Anko’s promise of thoughtful design and affordability. It matches the Filipino lifestyle by reflecting how people live and celebrate at home—whether it’s weekend family lunches, hosting friends, or making the most of smaller spaces. The collection offers versatile, durable, and easy-to-style pieces that adapt to different spaces and occasions, all without compromising on design or affordability,” Anko Philippines’ Country Manager Rachel Turner shared.
Sarah added, “For the Philippines, we focused on designs that are stylish but also highly functional in varying home sizes and layouts. We’ve chosen warm, neutral tones, natural textures, and versatile pieces that can be styled in multiple ways—so customers can create a fresh look with just a few changes. We have also included more eclectic prints and patterns than previous collections, embracing playful shapes, bold stripes, wavy forms, and contrasting pops of color to help customers celebrate individuality. You’ll find that edging and trimming are also trending across all homewares, bedding, cushions, decor, dining, and even furniture.”
Here are the home decor tips we love from the masterclass:
1. Colors and Neutral Styling
Sarah shared that it is ideal to have a neutral color base when styling a space, and throw in some pops of colors.
“Start with a base to be able to play around, and transform a room by throwing is some pops of color accents like fuchsia, lilac, or sage.
Trend tip from Sarah: The color sage green is so trendy in the interior design scene right now. Check out how you can throw in some pops of color sage amidst your area with a neutral base hue:

2.Play With Shapes
Add a little personality into your house with some playful shapes. You may opt to invest in furniture pieces with unusual outlines, like this bedhead from Anko’s new collection:

Anne shared her tips when it comes to playing with shapes at her home spaces.
“I love adding some elements of eclectic shapes, and I do it with mirrors. Of course, it is always smart to integrate stylish yet functional furniture pieces in your space.”

3.Invest in Statement Cookware
“Our kitchen is always fired up, and we know it is not because of me,” Anne mentioned during the masterclass. “To add a little aesthetic into your kitchen, a statement cookware like this pan in color sage is a good idea.”
