How to Create a 2026 Vision Board Focused on Self-Love and Wellness

By Dara Clariza Evangelista

Okay, so if you’re thinking of making a vision board for 2026, this is how we personally think about it. Nothing rigid, nothing intimidating. More like sitting down with a friend and asking, “What do we actually want our life to feel like this year?” Especially with self-love and wellness in mind.

For us, there are really just two things you need to decide first.

The first one is the format. Like, how is this vision board going to exist in your life?

Some people love a text format, where you literally just write things down. That can be intentions, affirmations, or very specific things you want to call in. Honestly, that still works because if you’re reading it often, you can visualize it. Words are powerful like that.

Then there’s the image format, which is the more traditional vision board. You print photos, cut things out, stick them on a board, and put it somewhere you’ll see all the time. This is still our favorite, by the way. There’s something about seeing it physically, right in front of you, that just hits different. It feels more like manifestation because it’s right there, not hidden behind an app or a folder.

You can also do this digitally, like a Pinterest board or a phone wallpaper. We think digital is totally fine as long as it’s something you see immediately. If it’s your phone screen, perfect. If it’s something you have to go out of your way to open, then personally, it kind of loses the point. The whole idea is that you’re seeing it firsthand, often, without effort.

So that’s really the main rule. Whatever format you choose, make sure it’s something you actually see. Not something you forget exists after a week.

The second thing is the content itself. This part is honestly the fun one.

We like starting with categories instead of random images. Think health, wellness, finances, relationships, work, personal growth. You can also add things like rest, creativity, confidence, spirituality, or even just “peace.” Basically, anything you want to work on or invite into your life this year.

From there, you can start itemizing. If there’s a specific house you want, get a photo of that exact house. If there’s a bag you’ve been dreaming of, a phone you want to upgrade to, or a place you want to visit, include those. Make it specific. It helps your brain take it seriously instead of feeling like it’s just a mood board.

And since this is for 2026, self-love and wellness should really be the core of it. Not in a cheesy way, but in a very real way. How do you want your days to feel? Do you want to feel calmer, more taken care of, more secure, more present? Those feelings matter just as much as the material things.

At the end of the day, a vision board doesn’t have to be perfect or aesthetic or Pinterest-worthy. It just has to feel like you. Something that reminds you, quietly and consistently, of the life you’re building and the way you want to show up for yourself this year.

That’s it. Simple, personal, and very much a you thing.
