Filipina-Palestinian beauty queen Gazini Ganados has emerged as a top performer for Team Philippines at the Miss Grand International All Stars competition, currently ranking 13th overall with an average score of 8.70. She secured a spot in the Top 15 following the combined Evening Gown and Bareface Challenge performances.

Aside from her stunning physique, the femme fatale is celebrated for actively advocating against violence in Gaza, speaking out against the loss of innocent civilian lives. She uses her global platform to represent Palestinians, and to amplify the voices of her family in war-torn Gaza, pushing for basic human rights, peace, and the resilience of her people.
Her public statements and advocacy center on several key points:
Condemning the Violence
She has publicly denounced both the initial terrorist attacks by Hamas and the subsequent Israeli military campaigns, stating that countering violence by killing a significantly larger number of innocent civilians is “beyond insane” and a grave breach of human rights.
Amplifying Voices
She firmly believes that “human rights shouldn’t be controversial”. She joined the Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars pageant specifically to raise international awareness and amplify the voices of those affected by the war.
Sharing Personal Hardships
As someone whose father and siblings are trapped in Gaza, she frequently shares her emotional struggle of attempting to secure documentation and safe passage to get her family out of the conflict zone.
Call for Action
She continuously urges the public not to remain silent, warning that ignoring the crisis in Gaza normalizes human rights violations everywhere.
Why Her Representation is Important
The queen is amplifying the unheard voices amidst war, as she brings international visibility to the plight of Palestinians, providing a human face to the statistics of war.
Her personal advocacy came from having reconnected with her Palestinian father after her Miss Universe 2019 pageant journey, sharing the deep, personal heartbreak of being separated from her siblings in Gaza and unable to physically comfort or protect them.
Promoting Peace
Competing in pageants like the Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars, she uses her journey to directly promote the organization’s advocacy of stopping war and violence.
The Core Palestinian Issue
The issue is a century-old dispute over land, sovereignty, and self-determination in the Middle East.
The historical roots of it came from tensions arising way back in the early 20th century, when the Zionist movement sought to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine, which had a majority Arab population.
The displacement was apparent. When the State of Israel was created in 1948, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were displaced or expelled from their homes—an event Palestinians call the Nakba or “catastrophe”.
It is an ongoing conflict, resulting in several wars and military occupations, particularly in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The core issues involve borders, the status of Jerusalem, the right of return for refugees, and basic human rights.
Humanitarian Crisis
Escalating violence and recurring wars, including the intense conflict in Gaza that began in October 2023, have led to severe humanitarian crises and mass displacement.
Gazini Ganados serves her face representing actual people who suffer in the midst of it all.
