Cebu had its fashion moment last August 3 when James Reid and Brent Manalo flew in for Penshoppe’s Full Speed Ahead event, and honestly, it was the kind of weekend you wish you could hit replay on.
For the store visit, James showed up looking fresh in a white tee and utility vest paired with brown cargo pants. He’s got that relaxed-but-put-together vibe down pat. Brent went for black denim over a white tank, with black cargo pants and a belt that tied the whole look together. Both of them? Handsome in that effortless, you-didn’t-even-try-but-still-wow way.
The energy in the store was next level. James tried on a few Penshoppe pieces, Brent mingled with fans, and the crowd just kept getting louder. Then James hit the stage for a quick performance, and it turned into a mini concert, people were singing along, phones in the air, everyone just having the best time.
Later on, James switched it up for the interview, trading his denim jacket for a brown plaid shirt over a white tank, matching trousers, and tinted sunglasses.
He talked about why Penshoppe works for him, saying,
“There’s a wide variety when it comes to Penshoppe. There’s definitely something for everyone. For me, the different moods that I have, the different types of events I go to — it’s very diverse. There’s definitely something for every occasion.”
Brent’s moment was just as genuine:
“I’ve been manifesting the chance to work with Penshoppe, and now that it’s here I really wanna make sure that I do the right things.” You could feel how much it meant to him.
