Kids around Brings a Parisian Point of View to Children’s Fashion in Manila

Paris-born Kids around opens its doors at Greenbelt 5

Paris has always had a way of making style feel personal. Now, that sensibility has found a new home in Manila. This time, in wardrobes made for the youngest members of the family.

At Greenbelt 5, a new fashion destination is inviting Filipino families to see childrenswear a little differently. Kids around, the Paris-born luxury multi-brand retailer dedicated entirely to children, has officially opened its first Philippine boutique, bringing together some of fashion’s most recognizable names under one roof. Think Chloé, Givenchy, KENZO, and BOSS, alongside the retailer’s own label, a carefully edited mix of polished, playful and distinctly cool pieces designed for children who are already developing a point of view of their own.

With a presence in 29 countries and more than 85 boutiques worldwide, Kids around arrives in Manila with an idea that feels refreshingly simple: children’s fashion should be about more than dressing a child well. It should give them room to discover what they like.

A little Paris in Greenbelt

The first thing that sets the Manila boutique apart is the space itself. Inspired by the grand apartments of Paris’s Haussmannian buildings, the store reimagines the elegance of a Parisian home in a setting designed for modern families. Light-toned panelled walls and warm herringbone-style flooring give the interiors a refined, residential feel, while pops of colour keep the atmosphere playful. It is polished without feeling precious.

A taste of Paris, designed for the next generation

Sections for girls, boys, babies, accessories and shoes make browsing easy, but the open displays are perhaps the most inviting detail. Instead of feeling like a traditional luxury store where everything is carefully kept out of reach, the space encourages parents and children to wander, look and discover together.

That sense of discovery is central to the Kids around philosophy.

“We wanted to create an experience that celebrates children’s individuality and gives kids the freedom to discover their own sense of style,” says Sabrina Miranda, Group General Manager of Adrenaline Group, the operator of the Philippine boutique.

And the collections certainly give them plenty to discover.

When iconic fashion houses go mini

For Spring/Summer 2026, Chloé leans into the romance of carefree summer days. Soft pastels, sunset-inspired prints and delicate florals appear across airy dresses, relaxed denim and feminine separates, with embroidery, ruffles and lace adding the kind of details that make a little outfit feel special. Mini-me accessories and shoes complete the look.

At Givenchy, Parisian sophistication meets a more relaxed, urban attitude. The collection plays with the contrast between casual and couture, offering pieces that can move easily from everyday adventures to occasions worth dressing up for.

KENZO Kids takes a more playful route. Inspired by Artistic Director Nigo’s East-meets-West perspective, the Spring/Summer 2026 collection brings together denim, colourful prints and elevated separates with references to Parisian and Japanese gardens. The house’s signature peony and elephant motifs make appearances, alongside graphics inspired by the sweet treats children love.

Then there is BOSS Kidswear, whose Spring/Summer 2026 collection, The World Is Yours, takes its cues from travel. New York, Massachusetts and Mexico City influence a wardrobe of graphic T-shirts, lightweight tailoring, sporty separates and summer accessories. This season also sees the concept extend into infantwear, giving even the tiniest members of the family their own take on the BOSS aesthetic.

Kids around’s own label adds another layer to the mix. Drawing inspiration from vintage sportswear and the easy elegance of the French Riviera, it brings together comfort, colour and playful details. Looking ahead to Autumn/Winter 2027, the label continues that spirit with a collection built around versatility and self-expression.

A new address for little fashion personalities

Luxury childrenswear is no longer simply about recreating adult fashion in smaller sizes. Children today are growing up surrounded by an increasingly global visual culture, and their wardrobes are becoming part of how they express their personalities from an early age.

Kids around taps into that shift with a distinctly Parisian perspective: curated rather than crowded, expressive rather than overly polished, and luxurious without losing the sense of fun that belongs to childhood.

A balloon popping ceremony was led by Sabrina Miranda (Group General Manager of Adrenaline Group), John Malte (Greenbelt General Manager), Hans Yao (Adrenaline Group President & CEO), and Mark Sablan (Ayala Malls Head of Brand Acquisition & Brand Strategy) to celebrate the opening of the Kids around store in the Philippines

Now, Filipino families have a new place to explore that world. Located on the 3rd Floor of Greenbelt 5 in Makati City, the newly opened Kids around boutique brings an international roster of fashion houses to Manila while leaving the most important part of the story to the children themselves, the freedom to decide what feels like them.

After all, the best-dressed child in the room may not be the one wearing the most recognizable label. They may simply be the one who picked their own look.
