The Philippines’ biggest free music festival returns for its 32nd year, transforming the streets of Makati and 33 provinces into a massive celebration of sound.
Get your comfortable shoes ready—the rhythm is taking over. Fête de la Musique Philippines has officially announced its 2026 lineup, and it’s a high-octane mix of local legends and international flair.
Headlining this year’s main stage are two of the country’s most distinct musical forces: the chart-topping rock-funk outfit Lola Amour and the iconic jazz-spoken word collective Radioactive Sago Project, led by Lourd de Veyra.
A French-Filipino Fusion
True to its roots, the festival (organized by Alliance Française de Manille) continues to bridge the gap between Manila and Paris. This year, fans can look forward to the “motorik” beats of French krautrock trio Meule and the ethereal sounds of electric harpist Héloïse La Harpe.
The festivities kick off on June 20 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens and Paseo de Roxas, where a “Taste of France” market will offer food and crafts to accompany the live performances.
“For the People, By the People”
While the main stages draw the biggest crowds, the soul of Fête lies in its diversity. On June 26 and 27, Makati will be carved into over 30 “Pocket Stages.” Whether you’re into the raw energy of the Punk Stage at Habhaban or the atmospheric vibes of the Dream Pop & Shoegaze Stage at Mang Rudy’s, there is a dedicated corner for every subculture.
The 2026 theme, “For the People, By the People,” also highlights the festival’s massive provincial reach, with simultaneous events happening in 33 destinations across the archipelago.
More Than Just Concerts
Fête 2026 is also leaning into the power of music to soothe. The “Music Heals” segment on June 10 will focus on sound healing and meditation, while classical music aficionados can catch award-winning pianist Maxime Zecchini at Raffles Makati on June 14 and 15.
As always, admission to all Fête de la Musique stages is free, staying true to the global tradition of making music accessible to everyone.
