Manila Fashion Week: Stars Spotted At Chris Nick’s Runway Show

By Stylish Team

Some of the top Filipina actresses and showbiz personalities were spotted strutting the runway for fashion designer Chris Nick during Manila Fashion Week Day 2, and we’re obsessed!

GMA Kapuso primetime actress Kyline Alcantara was a stand-out in her draped mini dress in creamy white.

“Sinagtala” actress Rhian Ramos stunned in her cut-out dress with trail-like sleeves.

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi looked like a goddess floating with her celestial beauty.

One of Manila’s top working models Renée Hartshorne, who was once featured in a STYLISH Magazine fashion editorial in 2021, brought her usual fierce allure into Chris Nick’s latest runway show.

Fun fact: Renée was just 15 years old when she did her shoot with us here at STYLISH.

“A Very Good Girl” actress Chie Filomeno was also spotted on the runway, modelling a an intricate draped top paired with pants.

GMA Kapuso primetime actress Max Collins was also one of the designer’s muses for Manila Fashion Week.

Max rocked two runway looks, the first one a sensual see-through dress, and the finale one inspired by ’80s powersuit.

Surely, the designer knows how to bring in the stars in the fashion universe.

Chris Nick’s sharp take on modern womenswear was apparent in the collection, with a twist of sexy and edgy.

Chris Nick shared the inspiration behind his latest runway collection.

“It’s essentially inspired by the hedonistic things I love to do— this collection specifically is sex club centric— if you think about it, the different shades of browns represent different skin tones and well the ivory shades, represent — you know. The tuxedo will always be part of my work so this season we have different variations of it mixed into contrasting aspects. I think it’s the perfect way to introduce myself during the inaugural season as it’s polished and put together, elegant yet raunchy and sensual in the most CHRIS NICK way.”
