There’s something magical about fashion that sparks joy, the kind of joy you feel when you slip into something bright, bold, and unapologetically fun. I’ve always loved dressing happy, and a brand that does it well is Marc Jacobs. This season, the brand reminds us that clothes can be art, and art can be joy.

The new limited-edition capsule, created with contemporary artists David Shrigley, Derrick Adams, and Hattie Stewart, bursts with color, wit, and movement. Think Shrigley’s cheeky humor splashed across graphic tees and totes, Adams’ bold geometric patterns bringing rhythm to ready-to-wear, and Stewart’s pop-surrealist florals that feel like they’ve bloomed straight out of a dream. It’s a collection that’s not afraid of color or shape, it celebrates them.

The pieces are joyful conversation starters, from signature Marc Jacobs bags to playful accessories that make everyday dressing feel like self-expression. And it doesn’t stop there: the collaboration extends to Converse sneakers, SHUT skateboards, Gibson Les Paul™ guitars, Moleskine notebooks, and even Crayola creative sets, each turned into a mini art piece that radiates happiness. (And yes, the notebooks are adorable.)

Shot by Nick Newbold and styled by Stella Greenspan, the campaign’s immersive pop-ups in New York, Paris, London, and Tokyo bring the idea full circle: joy isn’t just something you wear, it’s an experience.

The Marc Jacobs Artist Capsule Collection launches this September 2025 at select Marc Jacobs boutiques worldwide and online. In the Philippines, Marc Jacobs is available at Greenbelt 5, Rustan’s Makati, and on Trunc.ph.
Because fashion should make you feel something, and in this case, it’s pure joy.
