For an ideal fashion color palette for the new year, it is all about easy-on-the eyes, evocative soft brown as Mocha Mousse has been officially named the Pantone Color of the Year 2025.
Pantone, the world’s color communication authority, has chosen Mocha Mousse as it “transports our senses into the pleasure and deliciousness” as well as “nurtures with its suggestion of the delectable quality of cacao, chocolate and coffee, appealing to our desire for comfort.” The color is also “infused with subtle elegance and earthy refinement, and sensorial warmth.”
We waited no time and listed down some upscale fashion houses available in Manila that can serve you Mocha Mousse variations for your sartorial options this season:
Max Mara
Known for the clean tailoring of its haut de gamme women’s ready-to-wear, Italian fashion house Max Mara has always served crisp blazers and suits, long skirts paired with polished tops and chic long coats, and usually in neutral colors as well as camel and brown hues. For an effortless incorporating of the 2025’s pantone color into your OOTD, Max Mara can be one of your easy fashion bets.

Founded in 1951 by Achille Maramotti as inspired by his mother and great grandmother, Max Mara‘s deep tailoring has never failed. With its latest spring collection showcased in a September 2024 fashion week presentation, Max Mara puts a spotlight on female protagonist and brilliant mathematician Hypatia of Alexandria as per the house’s creative director Ian Griffiths.
Griffith, who’s been working with Max Mara since 1987, envisioned a new approach for the brand for his new collection, as he thought of sleek styling complementing the geometry of women’s body proportions.
In the Philippines, Max Mara is located at Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center in Makati City.
Gucci
Italian fashion house Gucci exudes maximalism intertwined with classism, at least for me. Started out as a luggage company in Florence, Italy in 1921, it was only the 1960s when Gucci offered clothing. It was brought to even more global prominence with the transformative aesthetic of legendary designer Tom Ford. Today, Gucci is under the creative leadership of the amazing Alessandro Michele.
For a Mocha Mousse look in Gucci, look no further than its Spring Ready-to-Wear 2025 collection.

This latest spring collection was inspired by the house’s archive, particularly of the “casual grandeur” of fashion icon and Gucci muse/client Jackie O, according to creative director Alessandro.
In the Philippines, Gucci boutiques are located at Greenbelt 4 in Makati City, and Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
Tory Burch
Founded by American designer Tory Burch in February 2004, the namesake label has been raved for its overall preppy-bohemian luxe aesthetic with Manhattan sensibilities. And also often in– you guess it— neutral colors and brown hues. Very Mocha Mousse.
For its latest spring collection, Tory Burch played with boho-whimsy and athleticism as her design themes.

In the Philippines, Tory Burch can be shopped in its physical stores at Greenbelt 5, Rustan’s Department Store, and Power Plant Mall in Makati City .
If you’re looking to shop virtually, these Tory Burch pieces are also cute choices.

Here are just some of the most accessible international high-fashion stores in Manila that can cater you with Mocha Mousse fashion perfection. There are quite a lot of upscale fashion boutiques to choose from, of course, if you’re into doing more fashion cardio this season!
