All hail the mini skirt!
Lately, there have been a handful of early 2000s fashion trends resurfacing, including styles we thought would be deeply buried in the Y2k archives. However, with the rise of “going-out” outfits on the rise, mini skirts are once again reigning supreme–and understandably so.
We’re not just talking about the pleated mini skirts here. Denim and leather styles are also in the mix alongside cute crochet designs and flirty floral numbers.
Throughout pop culture history, we’ve seen the risque look on Pamela Anderson in the 90s, to icons like Christina Aguilera and Paris Hilton in the early 2000s. Since then, many of our favorite stars have also been captured in the coveted mini skirt both in the international and local scene, from the likes of Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, Rihanna, Olivia Rodrigo and countless others now.

Wearing all white is always a good idea when you want to look effortlessly chic. But if you want to keep things exciting, you can play around with shapes. Wearing a chiffon button-down top with a mini ruffled skirt is a sure way to keep all eyes on you.
Cool for School
One way to upgrade the typical prep-school inspired outfit is by swapping out the dated pleated skirt for something more unexpected. Case in point: this linen skirt with a rope belt.
