Love stories don’t end at “I do.” They continue in the homes couples build together, in shared traditions, and in the quiet moments that turn a house into something deeply personal. That idea took center stage as Opulence Design Concept unveiled Una Storia D’Amore E Passione (“A Story of Love and Passion”) on July 14, 2026, transforming its Greenbelt 5 showroom into an immersive celebration of Italian-inspired living.
Marking Opulence Design Concept’s first collaboration with a bridal couture designer, the showcase brought together the creative visions of bridal designer Julianne Syjuco and interior designer Jenice Yeung. Through couture inspired by Italian romance and curated Versace Home interiors, the experience explored the seamless connection between fashion, design, and the life that begins after the wedding.

Taking center stage was the launch of Loved?, Syjuco’s newest bridal collection, presented alongside a seven-piece ready-to-wear line that extends her romantic aesthetic beyond the aisle. Rather than focusing on the moment a bride is chosen, the collection redefines romance through self-love, celebrating the woman who first chooses herself before sharing her life with someone else.
“LOVED is something that is deeply personal to me because it is the story of a woman who learned to love herself.
Traditionally with bridal fashion, we celebrate the moment when the bride is chosen by the man, but this time I wanted to celebrate the moment that the woman chooses herself. Because she loved herself, that’s how she attracted a partner that adored and cherished her in the same way.”

For Syjuco, romance isn’t confined to the wedding day. It’s found in the rituals of everyday life.
“When I think about love, I think about romanticizing everyday — the slow mornings, intimate conversations over dinner, and a husband and wife creating a home filled with memories.”
Inspired by the rich Italian heritage of Versace Home, Syjuco collaborated with Creative Director Ega Rivera to weave subtle references to the iconic fashion house throughout the collection. Versace’s signature brocades inspired custom embroidery and lace designs, while luxurious bridal satins, sculptural silhouettes, delicate French lace, airy tulle, pearls, crystals, signature 3D florals, and statement bows came together in gowns that balanced timeless romance with modern femininity.

The collection was brought to life by Maxene Magalona, Elisse Joson, Daniela Lagman, Sam Corales, Ashley Romero, Kim Gosiaco, and Aimee Abaya, whose runway presentation transformed the showroom into an intimate celebration of contemporary bridal elegance.

If Syjuco’s gowns captured the emotion of saying “I do,” the showroom imagined everything that comes after.
At the heart of the experience was Versace Home, whose refined bridal registry collection, from statement tableware and elegant décor to sophisticated home accents, was styled into intimate living spaces curated by Yeung. Rather than creating interiors designed to impress guests, she envisioned spaces that reflected the people who would actually live in them.

“What we wanted to do this time is be introspective — ‘What do I really want?’ If you’re not performing for other people, if this is not for show, what do I really want?”
That philosophy also shaped her approach to Versace Home, which she believes has evolved into a softer, more understated expression of luxury.
“Now it’s super subtle. The silhouettes are very classic, the proportions are beautiful, the colours are subdued, and the design is very low-key. I’m inspired by that, especially the layers of whites and pastels.”

For Opulence Design Concept, the collaboration marked more than a creative partnership. It reflected an evolving vision of luxury living, where the home is just as meaningful as the celebration itself.
“Every beautiful home begins with a story,” said Gerry Sy, owner of Opulence Design Concept. “Through our collaboration with Julianne Syjuco, we’re celebrating not just the wedding day, but the beginning of a lifetime of creating meaningful spaces together.”
Co-owner Jinky Sy echoed that sentiment, describing fashion and interior design as kindred creative disciplines.
“Interior designing and fashion designing are somewhat like sisters because they both create beautiful things. They create magic. They turn ordinary things into something magical.”

The event also introduced Opulence Design Concept’s Bridal Registry, a personalized gifting experience that allows couples to curate their future home with pieces from its portfolio of internationally renowned home brands. Designed to simplify the gifting process, the registry offers thoughtfully selected home décor and accessories, along with personalized guidance from a dedicated retail specialist.

Extending the collaboration beyond the launch, Syjuco will also hold bridal consultations and gown fittings at the Greenbelt 5 showroom over the coming month, allowing future brides to explore her latest collections while discovering Opulence Design Concept’s curated world of luxury interiors.
More than a showcase of couture and design, Una Storia D’Amore E Passione offers a different perspective on romance, one that celebrates not only the wedding day, but the beautiful life that follows. By bringing together bridal fashion and thoughtfully designed living spaces, Opulence Design Concept reminds us that love isn’t only reflected in the dress you wear, but also in the home and memories you create together.
