January always brings that familiar urge to reset, especially at home. After the long stretch of holiday hosting, family gatherings, and everyday clutter quietly piling up, the idea of starting fresh feels less like a trend and more like a necessity.
At Anko TriNoma on January 11, the brand kicked off 2026 with a Decluttering and Storage Workshop led by Christine Dychiao, the first Filipina KonMari®-certified consultant and founder of Tidying From Within. Rather than encouraging a dramatic overhaul, the session focused on realistic, affordable systems that fit naturally into daily Filipino life.

Dychiao emphasized starting with spaces used every morning, noting how a calmer bedroom or bathroom can shift the tone of an entire day. Anko’s Bed Linen Boxes and Linen-look Underbed Shoe Organizers stood out for making use of overlooked spaces while keeping things tidy without adding visual clutter.

Storage that blends seamlessly into the home was another key theme. Pieces like the Linen Look Tapered Rectangle Basket, 2 Tone Flat Felt Basket, and Rectangle Boucle Basket with Stripe Lines offered function without feeling overly utilitarian, proving that organizing tools can double as décor.

In the kitchen, visible storage took center stage. Anko’s Clear Rectangle Turntable, Plastic Spinning Organizer, and 2 Compartment Fridge Storage made everyday items easier to reach and helped reduce food waste, while small additions like the Fridge Deodorizer quietly improved daily routines.

Affordability remained a strong takeaway throughout the workshop. With flexible, well-priced pieces, households can build organizing systems gradually, no pressure, no major investment. Beyond aesthetics, Dychiao reminded attendees that organization supports wellness, creating calmer spaces and more manageable routines.

As Anko’s first community-focused activity of 2026, the workshop set a grounded, encouraging tone for the year ahead, one rooted in progress, not perfection.
Anko will host more workshops throughout the year. Visit Anko at Ayala Malls TriNoma, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Ayala Malls Feliz, Alabang Town Center, and Glorietta 2. Follow @anko_philippines or sign up via anko.com/anko-club.
