If you were a teen–or a fully-grown adult–in the ‘90s, chances are, you’re into the thin-brow trend. While the eighties saw the boom of the power brow, by the following decade, razor thin stripes became the trend for face-framers. Thankfully, a brow mishap is not the end of the world—there are multiple things you can do to get thicker, fuller eyebrows.
Here are a few tips on how to grow out your brows with grace.
Quit plucking
If your brows are looking sparse, it’s time to put down the tweezers and step away from the mirror. Let them grow completely before even thinking about plucking again. It might be tempting to clean up those stray hairs, but stay focused on your ultimate goal: to get your full, glorious brows back.

Use eyebrow serum
Like any beauty product, the efficacy of an eyebrow growth serum depends on how diligently you use it. Make it a part of your nightly skin routine, apply it before bed so it works its magic while you sleep.
A good eyebrow serum should do two things: revitalize your follicle and condition your hair. This will minimize breakage, repair each strand and protect your eyebrows from environmental damage, like pollution, which can dehydrate your skin.
Eat healthy and stay hydrated
Hydration plays a key role in supporting healthy hair growth–including your eyebrows. Drinking lots of water will help your eyebrows grow back by keeping your hair follicles hydrated and removing toxins from your body.
It is recommended that adults drink at least six to eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day for optimal hydration. Additionally, by getting the nutrition you need from a healthy diet, your eyebrows will more likely grow back.

Protect your brows from excessive sun
Protecting your brows from the sun is just as important as shielding your skin. While most people know that UV rays can lighten hair, making brows less visible, what’s less known is that these rays can also harm the proteins in brow hair, leading to brittle, dry, and thinner eyebrows. To keep your brows healthy and full, make sun protection part of your daily routine.
