It’s summer season and it’s ideal once again to rock that effortless dewy, radiant glow with the help of this season’s latest makeup drops.
I’m ecstatic that Australian-founded BYS Cosmetics sent over the latest glow duo that can definitely help me achieve that subtle, sun-kissed, and radiant makeup look this sunny season: the BYS Pearl Pod Baked Highlighter and Blush duo, and the BYS Liquid Highlighter and Liquid Blush combo.
What I’m loving about this latest BYS beauty PR kit is I have the choice between powder blush and powder highlighter combo, or liquid blush and liquid highlighter, or the mix and match of such. Because it’s always about what’s gonna work out for the daily state of your skin, or even for the beauty mood or look you’re going for for the day.
First things first, the BYS Pearl Pod Baked Series is definitely bringing on the glowing, colorful shades in powder form for that luminous finish. This baked formula is soft and silky, baked with finely milled powders that apply smooth as a dream.
Packed with ultra-fine shimmering pearl pigments, these powders give a diffused sheen that adds natural dimension to your features, with 3 blush shades and 3 highlighter shades.
Valentina is a soft shimmery baby pink blush, while Grace is a warm shimmery coral blush, and Charlotte is a warm coppery nude blush
Aurora is a luminous warm gold highlighter, while Luna is a cool, silvery highlighter, and Nova is a muted champagne highlighter.
Personally, I love me a powder highlighter to put attention on my nose bridge, brow bone and cupid’s bow, and BYS Pearl Pod Baked Highligher in Aurora worked well for that purpose on my morena skin tone.
Meanwhile, I used the BYS Pearl Pod Baked Blush in Charlotte on my cheekbones as the second layer of my blush, slash highlighter to lift the sides of my eyes for a youthful vibe. I put the BYS Pearl Pod Baked Blush Powder in Charlotte right above the BYS Liquid Blush in Charlotte from the BYS Liquid Blush Highlighters Series.
If you’re more into that dewy look, the BYS Liquid Blush Highlighters are more ideal for you. This liquid blush has the perfect amount of pigment for a dewy wash of color.
For my main blush, I love an easy to blend formulation for a natural, healthy-looking flush, and the BYS Liquid Blush Highlighter does the job well. As mentioned, I opted for the BYS Liquid Blush in Charlotte since I was going for a warm coppery nude blush.
If the BYS Liquid Blush in Charlotte is warm coppery nude, the BYS Liquid Blush in Grace is a nude peach blush, while the BYS Liquid Blush in Valentina is a vibrant pink blush.
Meanwhile, the liquid formulation of the BYS Liquid Highlighters has a sheer base and super fine shimmer pigments to deliver a natural sheen to the skin, without looking over the top or glittery.
The BYS Liquid Highlighter in Aurora is a sheer soft gold highlighter, while BYS Liquid Highlighter in Luna is a sheer silvery pink highlighter, and BYS Liquid Highlighter in Nova is a sheer champagne highlighter.
