Sunnies marks a new chapter in its journey with the launch of fragrance.
What began with eyewear has grown into a family of brands spanning beauty, drinkware, retail, and experiences. While each category serves a different purpose, they are united by one idea: making everyday life more thoughtful, more beautiful, and more joyful. For Sunnies, fragrance is a natural extension of its vision to bring beauty in everyday things.
Since its beginnings, Sunnies has believed that good design should not be reserved for luxury or special occasions. Whether it is the lipstick someone reaches for every morning, the sunglasses they wear on their daily commute, the bottle they carry throughout the day, or the fragrance they choose before leaving home, each product is designed to become part of everyday life.
“Every category we enter begins with the same question: how can we make an everyday moment feel more special?” says Jess Wilson, Co-Founder and Brand Manager of Sunnies Face. “Fragrance is one of the most personal parts of someone’s routine. It felt like a natural extension of what we have always wanted to create.”

Over the past thirteen years, Sunnies has grown from a local startup into a multi-brand company with more than 340 stores, including a growing presence around Southeast Asia. From the beginning, our ambition has been to push quality, design, and innovation as far as we can while keeping our products within reach of more people. That balance, doing more with every product so more people can enjoy it, is at the heart of everything we make.
We believe that is one of the most meaningful expressions of Filipino excellence: finding smarter ways to create products that rival the very best while remaining accessible to the people who use them every day.
That independence has allowed Sunnies to invest in original concepts, thoughtful design, and products that feel distinctly its own.
“Our goal has never been to build only an eyewear company, a makeup company, or a fragrance company,” Wilson adds. “We have always wanted to build a company that brings beauty into everyday things. The category may change, but the purpose stays the same.”
Today, that purpose lives across every part of the business—from makeup that becomes part of someone’s morning routine to sunglasses worn on daily commutes, bottles carried from home to work, and now fragrances that become connected to people, places, moods, and memories.
The Scent of Color
Eight years after the official launch of Sunnies Face on August 8, 2018, the beauty brand returns to the same milestone with the debut of the fragrance collection.
Sunnies Face launched with Fluffmatte, a modern matte lipstick that sold out within 15 minutes of its online release. The lipstick later received an Allure Best of Beauty Award, and what began with a single product has since grown into one of the Philippines’ leading beauty brands.
In 2024, Euromonitor International named Sunnies Face the #1 Lip Brand in the Philippines. The brand has since expanded beyond makeup into skincare and now fragrance.
While each category has been different, they have all been guided by the same starting point: Everything at Sunnies begins with color.
Color has shaped the way Sunnies approaches everything—from makeup and packaging to retail spaces and the objects people live with every day. More than a visual identity, color has always been central to how the brand thinks about design, emotion, and self-expression.
When the team began developing its first fragrance collection, it did not start with traditional scent families or a single signature fragrance. Instead, it began with a question:
What if you could smell color?
That question became The Scent of Color.

Rather than creating one scent to represent the brand, Sunnies Face created a fragrance wardrobe inspired by eight of its most recognizable colors. Each fragrance captures a different mood and personality and is designed to be worn individually or layered with another scent.
Just as people naturally choose different colors depending on how they feel, the fragrance collection allows them to approach scent in the same way.
The collection reimagines Sunnies Red, Sunnies Pink, Sunnies Beige, Sunnies Brown, Sunnies Cream, Sunnies Yellow, Sunnies Green, and Sunnies Blue as fragrance.

Each scent is available in two formats:
Eau de Parfum (P995/50ml) for a more concentrated and lasting fragrance experience, and Hair and Body Mist (P595/80ml) for a lighter and more effortless way to wear and refresh scent throughout the day.
Together, the eight fragrances offer different ways to find your color, wear it your way, and build a personal scent wardrobe.
Enter the World of Sunniesthesia
To celebrate the launch, Sunnies Face will introduce Sunniesthesia, an immersive experience inspired by synesthesia—a phenomenon in which the senses overlap and blend together.
The experience brings The Scent of Color to life through sight, scent, sound, taste, touch, mood, and memory. Guests will be invited to explore all eight fragrances, discover the colors they naturally connect with, and find the scent or combination that feels most like them.

Sunnies Fragrance launches on August 8, 2026, in all Sunnies Face inline stores and at Sunniesthesia.
From August 9 to 15, the collection will be available online exclusively through TikTok Shop. It will launch on Shopee, Lazada, and sunniesface.com beginning August 16.
With the launch of Sunnies Fragrance, the company continues its broader vision of bringing beauty into everyday things and creating products that everyone can enjoy.
