Tea, Treats, and Togetherness: Anko Crafts the Perfect Day for Moms

By Mae Gianina Cabalida-Pascual

There are gifts… and then there are moments you actually feel. This April, Anko turned an ordinary weekend into something a little more magical—because sometimes, the sweetest surprise for mom isn’t in a box, it’s in the laughter shared over frosting and flour.

On April 12 at TriNoma and April 18 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, moms and their little adventurers stepped into a world of pastel colors, cozy tea setups, and hands-on fun. The vibe? Think playful, a little messy (in the best way), and full of giggles.

Highlight of the day is the fun cupcake decorating session fully equipped with Anko’s bakeware and kitchen essentials

At the heart of it all was a simple idea: create something sweet together. Armed with Anko’s colorful silicone bakeware, mixing bowls, spatulas, and charming serveware, kids dove into cupcake decorating like tiny artists, while moms added their own flair—guiding, laughing, and occasionally sneaking a taste of frosting. It wasn’t just about baking; it was about connection, creativity, and those small, unforgettable in-between moments.

Leading the experience was Ivi Piadozo—known to many as Mommy Ivi from @ourdailyulam

Leading the experience was Ivi Piadozo—known to many as Mommy Ivi from @ourdailyulam. With her warm, approachable energy, she turned the workshop into more than a demo. She showed how something as simple as decorating cupcakes can become a meaningful ritual—a pause from busy days, a chance to bond, and a memory kids will carry long after the last sprinkle is gone.

Decorative flowers, food trays, bowls and platters and bakeware are just some of mom’s favorite items at home (Anko has all these essentials)

And just when you think the fun ends there, Anko keeps the adventure going.

From April 18 to May 10, weekends transform into mini creative escapes across their stores at Glorietta, Alabang Town Center, TriNoma, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and Ayala Malls Feliz. Kids can craft heartfelt paper bouquets at the “Flowers for Mom” workshops—tiny hands making something big in meaning.

Come May 9 and 10, moms get a well-deserved glow-up with complimentary hair styling sessions—because yes, they deserve to be pampered too. And for members of the Anko Club, a little extra treat awaits: spend a minimum of ?1,500 on select weekends and take home a limited-edition tote bag to remember the day.

Mommy Ivi demonstrated how a simple, shared baking session could double as meaningful quality time with the kids

If you’re looking for your next family moment—the kind that’s equal parts fun, messy, and meaningful—the next stop is April 25 at Ayala Malls Feliz.

Because at the end of the day, the best memories aren’t perfectly baked… they’re perfectly shared.
