We’ve known and loved Tumi for its functional yet chic travel luggage options. But a major shift tells us that we definitely should not sleep on its equally stylish handbags, totes, and backpacks. Well, the brand’s exciting summer adventure event in Thailand unveiling its Spring 2026 Collection surely does the job of making sure you don’t miss on all the panache!
Tumi brought some Mediterranean-inspired sensorial richness and rhythm to the shores of Koh Samui, Thailand this summer with some VIPs and celebrities to officially introduce the new Tumi Spring 2026 “Mediterranean Escape” collection.
Since 1975, Tumi has been creating world-class business, travel, and performance luggage and luxury essentials, designed to upgrade, uncomplicate and beautify all aspects of life on the move with flawless functionality and ingenuity.
Tumi’s “Mediterranean Escape” Spring 2026 collection marks a shift from the brand’s signature darker palette, spotlighting the brand’s evolving women’s and lifestyle offerings with vibrant colors and prints in cool silhouettes and new textures.
Voyageur totes, handbags, backpacks, Olas shoulder bags in playful colors and wearable designs are seen across the new collection — indeed delivering a refreshed look and diverse vibe from the brand. A cool assortment of accessories are available— too, from bag charms to sunglass cases and leather goods— rounding out the new collection and bringing the Mediterranean spirit to life.

The international travel, lifestyle and accessories brand welcomed over 80 VIPs and celebrities for a weekend designed to channel the destination’s relaxed spirit.
Thai celebrities in attendance included Phakphum Romsaithong also known as Mile, Blue Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen, and Becky Armstrong (“Becky”). Other Asian content creators graced the three-day event too, and our very own Filipino content creators Laureen Uy and Camille Co also joined the adventure.

“This Spring, we’re exploring a different side of Tumi – more expressive, more vibrant– with pieces inspired by a Mediterranean journey. The collection draws from the colors, textures, and atmosphere of the region, channeling that sense of escape and bringing a more emotional lifestyle dimension to how we design for travel,” Victor Sanz, Tumi’s Global Creative Director, shared during the event.

Meanwhile, Tumi’s Senior VP of Global Marketing and eCommerce Jill Krizelman shared the “design-meets-destination” philosophy that anchors the new collection.
The intimate setting also allowed guests to engage with Aris Maroulis, Vice President of TUMI Asia-Pacific and Middle East, who shared the brand’s strategic focus on growing its women’s and lifestyle categories in the region. “To truly capture the spirit of our Spring 2026 collection, we knew we had to let our guests step inside it. We designed a sensory journey that brings to life the evolution of our women’s and lifestyle offerings.”
Guests were welcomed into their own “Mediterranean Escape” – a reimagined coastal town with splashes of lush thyme green, sun-washed terracotta, and radiant yellow, mirroring the collection’s destination-inspired hues. Wandering amongst enchanting florals, fresh lemons, and beautiful ceramics, guests discovered new pieces, carefully curated by color and integrated into the stunning surroundings. The celebs and content creators also engaged in fun workshops during the event.

Guests concluded the journey with sunset drinks, dinner, and a closing party featuring fire dancing and a DJ performance on the beach.
