The Fashion Darlings We Love At the Golden Globes 2025

By Marane Plaza

We’re in for a very fashionable start with the red carpet soirée of the 2025 Golden Globes ceremony, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Hollywood, California on January 6.

We won’t be ranking our top red carpet looks this time, but rather give flowers to our favorite fashion gals and their sartorial choices for the first fab event this awards season:

Demi Moore

This Armani Privé metallic bronze gown looked insanely gorgeous on Demi Moore, and its sculptural bodice was the detail that complemented her toned bod even more (not that she needed it).

Moore made headlines for bagging her first-ever major acting award in her over 45 years of career, as she was named winner for the ‘Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy’ category for her work in The Substance. The horror-drama by French filmmaker Coralie Fargeat centers on the character of Elisabeth Sparkle, a fading star who takes a black-market drug that replicates cells to create a younger, better version of herself.

The Golden Globes 2025 Best Actress winner moved the audience to tears with her heart-tugging speech, sharing her pain from being told a “popcorn actress” some 30 years ago.

“And I’ll just leave you with one thing that I think this movie is imparting is: In those moments when we don’t think we’re smart enough or pretty enough, or skinny enough or successful enough, or basically just not enough. I had a woman say to me, ‘Just know, you will never be enough. But you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick,” Demi shared in her inspiring speech.

Zendaya

Another Pantone color to blow up this year is copper skillet, all thanks to fashion darling Zendaya.

The actress opted for the Old Hollywood route with her silk body-hugging tube dress designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, matched with a pair of tangerine silk pumps. The artistic director of women’s collections for Louis Vuitton notably made a half-trail detail on the couture gown for that added classic glamour.

Of course as fashion fans expected, Zendaya‘s Golden Globes 2025 look was a collaboration with her long-time stylist Law Roach— who noted that the dress was a tribute to Joyce Bryant, a black singer who rose to fame in the 1940s and 1950s by breaking barriers in the nightclub scene at the time.

The actress also sported a diamond ring on that finger, seemingly confirming her engagement with actor Tom Holland, sending the media in frenzy in the past 24 hours.

Also nominated for the ‘Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy’ category for her role as tennis player Tashi Duncan in Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers, Zendaya once again proved that she’s more than her jaw-dropping red carpet fashion choices.

Keri Russell

Keri Russell had her first Golden Globes award in 1999 for her work in hit ’90s television series Felicity. Now she’s back on the GG red carpet for a nomination in the same category Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama for her work as Ambassador Kate Wyler in the political thriller series The Diplomat.

Aside from her acting chaps, Keri left the glitterati in a chokehold with this polished caped and belted dress by Stéphane Rolland in color ivory. She paired it with Aquazurra heels and Lagos jewelry. This fashion look is a masterclass in, well, class.

Anna Sawai

Minimalism looks divine on multi-awarded Japanese actress Anna Sawai, with her white custom Dior dress featuring a peplum top detail as styled by Karla Welch. The look was topped off with a statement choker. Reportedly, it took 450 hours to create the dress.

Known for becoming the first Japanese actress and the first actress of Asian descent to win any Primetime Emmy Award, Anna ascended as the winner for the Emmy’s ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series’ category last year for her work in television series Shogun. Now, Anna can say she is also a Golden Globe Award winner in the ‘Best Actress in Television Series Drama’ category for her role as Mariko in the same TV series.

A little fun trivia: This actress actually attended the International School Manila in the Philippines for five years. You know we’d take any Filipino connection that we could (LOL). Also, she used to be a vocalist for Japanese girl group Faky. Totally impressive, full stop.

Cynthia Erivo

This generation’s beloved Elphaba once again turned heads with her sartorial choice inspired by her Wicked character, as she stunned in a Louis Vuitton couture in color black embellished with silver patterns, highlighting an outlandish rectangle peplum detail.

Cynthia Erivo was nominated for the ‘Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy’ category for her box office performance in the Jon M. Chu’s movie-musical adaptation of Wicked.

Wicked was recognized as the Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, as well as Cinematic and Box Office Achievement at the Golden Globes 2025.

Can’t wait for more fabulous red carpet fashion moments this awards season!
