For anyone who grew up with Monica’s sass, Chandler’s sarcasm, Phoebe’s quirks, Rachel’s style, Ross’s awkward charm, and Joey’s unforgettable “How you doin’?”, Friends wasn’t just a sitcom, it was a companion. The show ran from 1994 to 2004, but thanks to streaming, reruns, and the comfort of rewatching favorite episodes, the series has never really left us.
Now, fans in Manila can step inside that world they know so well. The FRIENDS Experience: The One in Manila opens its doors this October, inviting visitors to relive the magic through life-sized sets, replica costumes, and even the iconic orange sofa. Imagine sipping coffee in Central Perk, standing in Monica’s kitchen, or lounging in Chandler and Joey’s apartment, it’s like jumping straight into the screen.
The traveling exhibit has delighted fans in over 30 cities across the US, Europe, and Australia, and Manila marks its very first Asian stop. It’s a mix of nostalgia and discovery: the joy of seeing familiar props up close, the fun of recreating favorite moments, and the thrill of sharing it all with your own barkada.
Friends may have wrapped more than 30 years ago, but its heart, laughter, love, and friendship, remains timeless. The exhibit is not just about the show, it’s about remembering where you were when you first watched it, and celebrating how those stories still resonate today.
The FRIENDS Experience: The One in Manila runs from October 8 to November 30 at The Space at Solaire. Tickets are available starting September 9 via Ticketworld.
