Awards season officially kicked off with the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, and the red carpet delivered exactly what we were hoping for. From sculptural fashion moments to soft, ethereal glamour, these seven looks stood out for all the right reasons.
1. Elle Fanning

Known for her roles in Sentimental Value and The Great, Elle Fanning was pure old-Hollywood magic in a plunging champagne-gold gown. The liquid sparkle, deep neckline, and effortless elegance made this one of the night’s most unforgettable looks.
2. Chase Infiniti

Best known for One Battle After Another, Chase Infiniti proved that polish and structure can still steal the show. Her sculptural yellow two piece look felt confident, clean, and incredibly elegant. Just enough frills, and a trendy strong color with sharp styling done right.
3. Audrey Nuna

Singer and style risk-taker Audrey Nuna went full fashion-girl fantasy with a circular, sculptural silhouette paired with a playful bubble lip. It was bold, artsy, and refreshingly fun. Easily one of the most creative beauty-and-fashion pairings of the night.
4. Ariana Grande

Fresh off Wicked, Ariana Grande is still fully embracing her Glinda era. Her soft pink floral gown, adorned with crystals, felt dreamy and romantic without being costume-y. On top of that, the actress and singer was also channeling Diahann Carroll in 1969. It was ethereal, polished, and very on-brand in the best way.
5. Mia Goth

Known for her striking roles in films like Frankenstein and Pearl, Mia Goth kept things minimal and hauntingly beautiful. Her full white, ethereal look felt quiet yet powerful, proving that restraint can be just as impactful as drama.
6. Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel leaned into 1920s glamour with a lace-and-gold moment that felt rich and timeless. The textures, the shimmer, the vintage influence, it all came together beautifully and stood out in a sea of modern silhouettes.
7. Leighton Meester

Best known for Gossip Girl and Nobody Wants This, Leighton Meester looked effortlessly romantic in a lavender, floor-length gown. The flowy fabric and soft color gave classic red-carpet elegance with a gentle, modern touch.
From sculptural statements to soft, dreamy gowns, these seven looks set the tone for awards season. If this is how it’s starting, we’re more than ready for what’s next.
