Traveling Made Easier: Heys Philippines Introduces New Luggage Collections

By Dara Clariza Evangelista

Travel has become one of the easiest ways to practice self care. Whether it is a quick weekend trip or a long break away from work, moving from one place to another often gives people the reset they need. Though the location and who you’re going with are very important factors to these self care sessions, the right gear can make that experience smoother.

This is the spirit behind the latest event hosted by Heys Philippines as they introduced new collections built for practical, enjoyable travel. Heys Philippines continues to expand its presence in the country with new product lines and a steady effort to make modern travel easier for Filipino travelers. Founded in Toronto in 1986, the brand is known for durability, clean design, and lightweight builds. These qualities have made it a familiar choice for travelers who want something reliable for regular trips.

According to Joyce Carpiso, General Manager and Operations Head of Heys, Le Grand Boutique Philippines Inc., local travelers have become more intentional about the luggage they choose. “Filipinos travel often and want pieces that are both dependable and easy to use. That is what we focus on offering,” she shares.

One of the event highlights was the introduction of the HiLite Collection, designed to keep travel simple and efficient. The line comes in bright colors like Flamingo Pink, Aqua Breeze, Sunburst Yellow, Coral Reef, and Island Green, making bags easy to spot during transit.

The pieces are made from pure polycarbonate and include color matched interiors, zipper dividers, compression straps, and roomy pockets for straightforward packing. They also feature a zipper expansion of up to twenty percent and 360 degree dual spinner wheels for smooth movement through airports.

The event also showcased Heys Philippines’ push toward more sustainable materials. The ReNew Collection, made from one hundred percent recycled water bottle PET material, was a key example. Its removable recycled PET lining makes cleaning easier and encourages long term use. Other options include the Xero Elite 2.0, a lightweight line created with recycled PET components, and the Ecotex Packing Cubes, made from recycled nylon to help travelers organize their items while reducing waste.

Heys products are available in SM Department Stores, Fashion Rack Outlets, and Landmark, as well as online on Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, and the official website at www.heys.ph.
