From Fan to Attraction: A Full-Circle Moment

For Kathryn, this isn’t just an honor—it’s a dream she used to line up for as a kid.

“I was six, now I’m 29, and then nangyari ito (this happened). The process that you go through to deserve that wax figure, it is very humbling.

It is also a full-circle moment for me because I used to line up there, buy a ticket. When I was a kid, I just wanted to go there and meet my idol, and I wanted to experience Madame Tussauds. But now I’m going to be part of it.

Isn’t that so surreal?”

The choice of Hong Kong for her figure’s permanent home is incredibly poetic. The city served as the emotional backdrop for her historic films Hello, Love, Goodbye and its smash-hit sequel, Hello, Love, Again—which remains the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time.
