We Tried the 15-Step Korean Scalp Treatment From Eco Jardin

Scalp care meets skincare in this 15-step Korean head spa experience that promises clean roots, glowing strands, and full-body calm, now available in Manila.

By Dara Clariza Evangelista

When it comes to beauty and wellness, the conversation usually starts with skincare or body treatments, but the scalp? Often forgotten. And yet, it’s where healthy hair begins. A balanced, clean, and nourished scalp doesn’t just support hair growth, it also helps manage stress, boost circulation, and promote that head-to-toe glow. In today’s wellness era, it only makes sense that scalp care is finally getting the attention it deserves.

Enter Eco Jardin Philippines, a salon rooted in Korean scalp science, now open in Taguig. Known for its meticulous 15-step Korean stem cell scalp treatment, Eco Jardin blends high-tech analysis with relaxing rituals. Every detail is intentional, from the use of human stem cell culture extract to LED therapy, AI diagnostics, and mineral water rinses. Originally popular in Seoul, the treatment is now available at their Manila branch, offering a uniquely calming, results-driven experience.

Stylish tried the signature 15-step treatment with local stylists Benz Canlas and Ramie Delfin, who trained under Korea’s rigorous head spa protocols. Their technique, attentiveness, and care stood out in every step.

Here’s exactly what to expect, from the full 90-minute journey.

Step 1: Microscopic Diagnosis
The scalp scan is done with a tiny camera connected to a large screen. It zooms all the way in, showing dryness, buildup, and any signs of irritation. After taking clear photos, the images are analyzed through AI to create a fully customized plan. It’s a mix of tech, skincare, and slight fascination.

Step 2: Aromatic Oil Massage
Fragrant oils are massaged into the scalp. The scent is soft and relaxing, and the massage is thoughtful, setting the tone for everything that follows.

Step 3: Galvanic Sealing Brush with LED
A machine emits gentle electric pulses while red and blue LED lights target the scalp. Red improves circulation, blue hydrates and supports the fascia. Guests hold a grounding bar to complete the process, it’s soothing and futuristic at once.

Step 4: Minty Airbrush Scalp Scrub
Using an airbrush-like device, a mint-infused herbal solution is sprayed onto the scalp in quick pulses. The effect is like a mini power wash, cooling and exfoliating at the same time.

Step 5: Steam Mist Therapy
A steam cap surrounds the scalp with warm mineral mist. It opens the pores, allowing all nutrients to sink in deeply. The mist is gentle and comforting.

Step 6: Neck and Shoulder Massage
As the scalp absorbs, the neck and shoulders are massaged with fragrant oils. The pressure is light, the rhythm slow. In some sessions, a negative ion machine is used to help the body restore natural balance.

Step 7: Suction Relaxation Tool
A modern suction tool, similar to ventosa, works along the upper back and neck to promote circulation and drain tension. The rhythm is soft and therapeutic.

Step 8: Hot Towel Cocoon
A hot towel is squeezed over the scalp, sealing in warmth and relaxing the senses. It’s a quiet moment that brings everything inward.

Step 9: Bubble Shampoo Moment
A whipped, minty shampoo is spread across the scalp using a Y-shaped tool. The tool keeps the foam in place, preventing any product from slipping onto the face. It’s fresh, light, and deeply cleansing.

Step 10: Y-Stick Massage
The Y-stick continues as a massager, gently stimulating the scalp. It enhances blood flow and spreads the shampoo evenly, while feeling surprisingly relaxing.

Step 11: Waterfall Spa Rinse
In a separate spa room, mineral water flows gently across the scalp while the hair is brushed and rinsed under red LED light. This step is especially calming, many guests doze off here.

Step 12: Reanalysis
The scalp is scanned again. In this session, visible improvement was clear, reduced redness, cleaner follicles, and lower spike readings on the diagnostic screen.

Step 13: Cooling Mist Tonic
A cool, refreshing mist is sprayed across the scalp to soothe and balance. It’s like a final splash of clarity.

Step 14: Final Oil Massage
A last round of oil is massaged into the scalp to lock in the full treatment. This step feels like a reset, soft, calming, and grounding.

Step 15: Blow-Dry and Style
Guests can choose their finish, but even a simple blow-dry and iron gives smooth, bouncy, and glossy results. Hair looks and feels fresh, and the compliments last well into the next day.

As more people embrace full-body wellness, scalp care is quickly becoming the new essential. And this treatment makes it easy to see why, it’s luxurious, backed by science, and leaves hair looking and feeling better than ever.
