After years of unforgettable performances and chart-topping hits, iconic pop group Westlife is officially making its way back to Manila as part of its highly anticipated “WESTLIFE 25: The Anniversary World Tour.” The celebrated group is set to perform on January 20, 2027 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, in a concert presented by Wilbros Live.
Marking 25 years in the music industry, the tour celebrates the remarkable journey of one of the world’s most successful pop groups, a band whose timeless ballads and emotional anthems have become part of countless memories for fans across generations.
The Asia leg of the tour follows an extensive run across Europe and the UK, including a major residency in Dublin. Fans can expect a nostalgic, hit-filled concert featuring beloved classics such as “Flying Without Wings,” “You Raise Me Up,” and “Uptown Girl,” alongside newer tracks from their latest release, 25 – The Ultimate Collection.
Released in celebration of the group’s milestone anniversary, the album brings together some of Westlife’s biggest songs while introducing fresh material recorded by members Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, and Mark Feehily. Included in the album are recent releases such as “Chariot,” written by Ed Sheeran alongside Johnny McDaid and Will Reynolds, as well as “Your Love Amazes Me.”
In a statement released alongside the tour announcement, Westlife shared their gratitude to fans who have supported them through the years. “This year marks 25 years since we started this incredible journey together and it still feels like only the beginning. The support from our fans has been unbelievable, and to celebrate with this world tour, new music, and a brand-new album feels truly special.”
For Filipino fans who grew up singing along to Westlife’s biggest hits, the upcoming Manila concert promises more than just an evening of music. It is set to become a heartfelt celebration of nostalgia, timeless songs, and the enduring connection between the group and its audience.
