A tribute to Hollywood heroines and royal fantasy, the Lebanese designer’s Fall 2025 couture dazzled with strength, shimmer, and signature flair.

Zuhair Murad returned to Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 with a collection that masterfully fused the opulence of old Hollywood with the romantic grandeur of royal courts.
Drawing on the silver screen powerhouses of the 1940s, particularly icons like Katharine Hepburn, Murad reimagined their strong, structured silhouettes in a fantasy of lace, crystal, and tulle. The result was nothing short of cinematic.
Presented on the prestigious Parisian runway, Murad’s Fall 2025 couture show revived the bling with unapologetic glamour. Think broad-shouldered gowns anchored by delicate sheer layers, sequin-strewn columns, regal capes, and hand-embroidered details glimmering under the lights.
The palette ranged from stark black and icy white to bold sapphire, deep burgundy, and sunlit gold, each color elevating the drama while still whispering elegance.
But the most striking update? Faux fur. For the first time in his couture history, Murad introduced bejeweled stoles and cocoon coats, adding volume and texture without ethical compromise. The looks walked the line between fantasy and modern-day couture sophistication, continuing Murad’s vision of dressing women as queens, icons, and dreamers.
Murad explained that the collection was about “eternal elegance”, a response not just to fashion trends but to deeper emotions. “Women today are still fighting for their dreams, their presence, their identity,” he said. “These gowns are for them.”
A red carpet staple for stars like Jennifer Lopez, Priyanka Chopra, and Beyoncé, Zuhair Murad’s designs are globally recognized for their high-impact allure. Yet few know the brand began in Beirut in 1997, where Murad opened his first atelier before showing in Rome and Paris.
What started as a local bridal and evening wear label is now an international powerhouse, with ready-to-wear accessories. From Middle Eastern roots to global acclaim, Murad’s Fall 2025 collection proves once again: glamour is his language, and he speaks it fluently.
