The runway presentation of Filipino clothing label Human for Bench Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024 started with a mimicking of creating a street graffiti as done by three models including morena beauty Vienne Sirin. Then a catwalk block party commenced when a DJ started popping off hits with Filipino rapper-songwriter Al James performing some of his famous tracks “Pa-Umaga” and “PSG” while the new fashion collection pieces were sent down the runway.
The first model to strut the runway rode a street scooter which set the tone all the more. The Human spring/summer 2024 collection is all about exhibiting the chill and fun culture of streetwear, with eclectic mixin’ and matching and loud styling details.
TikTok content creator Aaron Maniego also made an appearance on the runway as one of the models. With the fun pops of colors, denims with heavy prints, rompers and jumpsuits paraded to the tune of crisp Filipino rap music, the Human spring/sumer 2024 fashion show was a celebration of self-expression, street creativity and individuality.
